  • Date: 5/1/2020 12:02 AM - 5/31/2020 11:59 PM
  • Location: United States (Map)

Join us in honoring the fallen men and women of Law Enforcement from 2019 who paid the ultimate sacrifice. The Honor Hike Foundation (HHF) is hosting its annual hike in honor of our fallen Officers. Each year the HHF participates in hiking one mile for each officer killed in the line-of-duty the previous year. This year the hike will consist of 146 miles on the Appalachian Trail. However, we welcome your team to participate by hiking, walking, or running 146 miles (collectively) on your own turf. The “virtual” hike allows your team to participate no matter where you are located and gives you the freedom to complete it on your own terms. This hike kicks off on May 1st and runs through the month, ending May 31st. While the trail component is hiking the 146 miles in 10 days you’ll have 31 days to log the 146 miles.

Please keep in mind we do ask you to be respectful during your virtual hike. Each mile you cross is a representation on an Officer that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

This virtual hike is limited in the amount of tickets that will be sold.

When you register, your team will receive 10 mileage tracking sheets with the names of each fallen Officer, 10 Honor Hike 2020 T-shirts and 10 challenge coins. Registration for this event ends April 15, 2020 and all race merchandise will be shipped by April 22, 2020.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to the HHF, an organization that provides support to the families of the fallen Officers.  Additional donations can be made directly to the organization via the donation link on the homepage.

This event is open to any team. If you are selecting the team option, include t-shirt sizes for all of your team members.
